SUMMARY:WRITING WORKSHOP: "Not My First Pandemic" project\, Minneapolis
DESCRIPTION:Author and poet Michael Kiesow Moore will present a writing workshop at Quatrefoil on the topic of surviving the AIDS Crisis. The Minnesota State Arts Board funded Michael to develop a manuscript about his experiences during the AIDS crisis called “Not My First Pandemic.”  Michael is gathering LGBTQA stories about our experiences of living through both AIDS and the Covid pandemics. Participants will reflect on these events through guided writing prompts\, with the option to share their stories. With permission\, collected stories will be preserved in the Tretter LGBTQ Archives at the University of Minnesota.
