Exhibit “Textural Forms”

Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts presented the exhibition Textural Forms: Michael Kiesow Moore, Nora Moore, Karen Searle.

This exhibition showcased these three creative individuals in a unique pairing.

  • Karen is a sculptor and mixed media artist who uses textural and natural materials in surprising and unexpected ways.
  • Nora is a painter and collage artist who explores the world of the subsconscious through her two dimensional works. Featured in the show are works that she calls “Visual Haikus.”
  • Michael, Nora’s son, is an accomplished poet who responds to both of these artists’ visual works through the written word; his poems will be framed and presented in the galleries alongside the visual art.

The show was on view March 28 to April 25, 2015 at the Banfill-Locke galleries.
